The Most Wonderful Time of the Year
I baked cookies and erected a tree that invokes reactions like "Is that your Christmas tree?" and "Did you lose a bet?" and more importantly "How many cats do you have again?"
Call it hideous. Call it ugly. Call it a mistake, but I love it.
Then again, I love ugly stuff.

There
Your tree is tremendous. Truly awesome, and really, can only be appreciated by someone who grew up in the Midwest. I applaud you!
If we did Xmas, I don't doubt we would have something similar!
I love it too! But I'm not very into traditional Christmas-y stuff, so that's no big surprise. I'm not even doing a tree this year. I'm such a grinch.
I love the feather tree but what's up with the books behind it?
We moved the coffee table and the stuff on the coffee table out of the way to play some Wii sports, so the tree ended up on that table, near the books.
We didn't put it in the final spot because there is some wild action happening in the living room and I didn't want anything to topple.
It's not the permanent location. In fact, the tree is... well, let's just say some people aren't ready for such innovative tree solutions yet. I'll blog more about that later.
